From Reactive to Responsive
Is your dog reactive to other dogs while on leash? Do walks feel more stressful than relaxing? Let us help!
Over the course of six weeks, our Reactive Rover course will help you and your dog build confident, focused, and calm behaviors through positive reinforcement and practical techniques.
Techniques covered in this class will help to reduce reactivity through desensitization and counter-conditioning, along with building focus and calm engagement in distracting environments. Participants will learn management tools such as emergency U-turns and the “Look at That” game, all while developing strategies to remain calm and in control while outdoors.
This program is tailored for dogs that bark, lunge, or growl at other dogs while on walks, helping owners understand leash reactivity and its triggers.
A $250 registration fee covers the cost of the entire training program, which includes 6 weekly sessions, 60 minutes each, within a small group to ensure plenty of space and individual attention. Beyond Basic Manners classes start on May 17th and continue for 5 weeks.
