Meet Daffodil! She is a one (1) year old small to medium dog mix. Her foster parent thinks she might have some lab in there, some terrier, and with that tail and her speed, maybe Greyhound????? Daffodil is Very Fast.

Daffodil is a happy, bouncy, higher-energy dog, which is typical for her age and suspected breed. She loves to play with other dogs and is very curious about everything. She is still learning to fetch and walk on a leash without pulling. Daffodil runs Very Fast around the yard* and might be the fastest dog on the planet.

Daffodil would love a home with someone who can play with her! This might mean a home with other playful dogs, a family who likes to play, or people who want companionship and a walking/adventure buddy. She is medium to high energy and would do well in a home that is also medium-to-high energy. Her foster parent is low energy so Daffodil is learning an appreciation for reality TV on the couch, but really likes to Run Fast as well.

*Daffodil is undergoing treatment for heartworms and has to keep her running to a minimum (basically zero) through May 2025 while she recovers. An adopter should know that Daffodil will WANT to be bouncy and fast but should be kept quieter and engaged with toys like chew bones, puzzles, lick mats, etc to keep her busy, rather than running races. Starting June 2025, Daffodil can reclaim her crown as the Absolute Fastest Dog.
