Wagging Wednesdays at PetSmart

The Louisiana SPCA has more adoptable pets than potential adopters! To make adopting a pet even easier, Louisiana SPCA is coming to your neighborhood!  

We will close our adoption centers on Wednesdays (see dates below) and take over at the following PetSmart locations: 

• PetSmart S. Claiborne – 2900 S. Claiborne Ave. (12:00 pm to 7:00 pm) 
• PetSmart Manhattan -1321 Manhattan Blvd. (12:00 pm to 5:00 pm) 

What makes this great? 

• We’ll have adoptable animals of all ages, shapes, and sizes.
• We regularly have cats available at PetSmart, but on Wagging Wednesdays, there will be plenty of pups 
• Adoption fees are reduced for some animals 
• It’s a one-stop shop – PetSmart has everything you need for your new best friend, including food, toys, bedding, and more 
• You’ll receive a gift card up to $50 for each animal you adopt 

As always, each adoption during this event goes through our standard screening process and includes: 

• Spay or neuter 
• Vaccines 
• Microchip 
• Discounted pet training 
• Free bag of Hill’s Science Diet food

This event will be held on the following Wednesdays in 2024:

• October 30th
• November 6th
• November 20th
• December 4th
• December 11th
• December 18th
